So I bought this RZ2 about 2 months ago. I put it right in the water and have been using it a reasonable amount. The other day I thottled down and back to nuetral and my low oil pressure warning came up on the Tige touch. I was basically back at the dock so when it stopped I knew I would check it in a bit. I loaded the boat on the trailer and brought it home. I unhooked from the truck and cranked the trailer up to drain any water as I was planning to clean the boat. I then checked the oil. The level was WELL past add. I started freaking out, but then I thought about the fact that I cranked the trailer up and could that be giving me a false reading. Engine is a PCM 343. Thought I would put it out here to get some feedback. I was planning on getting some more oil and next time I put in the water check it then. Anyone have experience with the 343 and checking the oil not in the water?

Your Tige service manual calls for an oil change at the 20hr service, did you have your 20 hour service done?

Also, being overfull will cause the oil to foam and give a false low oil pressure reading.Last edited by chpthril; 06-23-2011, 12:55 AM.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More
