Perfect Pass INOP.. worth fixing?

I have the original Perfect Pass in a 2001 21V that has no digital reading.. simply buttons.. anyway, the Servo motor has been out on it since I bought it.. so I finally took it off and left all the wiring.. my question to you guys is;

1) Do you really love ur taps

2) Is it worth me spending the 600-800?

You can take the servo apart and clean it up. PP will send you the directions, just did it last week. They get water inside the step motor and freeze up. What does your gauge look like? Is it the single line or multiple line gauge? Definately worth fixing, life is way better pulling boarders and surfers with it.

Damn.. I dont even remember what i did with the damn thing... hopefully it isn't trashed.. FML... all the other stuff is still on the boat.. the PP looks like it has two buttons.. no fancy display or anything.. maybe I can find someone selling a used Servo?

You can purchase just the servo from PP. I think they are about 129.00. Just not as good as free. Trashed my first one till I heard you can rebuild them. Very simple procedure.
