    Warning Beep/ Temp Gauge Hot

Loaded boat in water and belt broke, ran to store, got belt and put on. Loaded boat again and now the warning beep stays on about 2 minutes after running engine. My temp gauge shows hot. Checked to see if engine was getting water and it is. What could I be missing or broke???
It is a 2000 Tige 21i riders Edition

When was the last time you checked the impeller?

End of last year's season we took it in and had it serviced and winterized.

Your impeller is toast or you have something blocking the pickup tube under your boat.

Serviced and winterized does not equal replaced impeller. Do it every spring!

Your impeller must be bad, or build up of sand/debris in your strainer.

The impellers get rigid over winter and they crack. When you replace it, make sure you didnt suck some rubber parts up into the thermostat or get something stuck in the intake. I had that happen on my last Tige... a '95 SLM
