Ok so i had my boat winterized and put in a storage unit all winter. Got it out today and got everything ready. Put it in the water and it started right up and drove great. Started doing some boarding and after a lot of idling the engine started getting very hot like 200 so i immediately shut it down. Waited a while and checked out what i could visually and nothing seemed wrong. I let it cool down and tried it again. On the way back to the trailer it stayed cool at higher speeds but as soon as i hit the no wake zone and began idling the temp climbed VERY fast. I shut it off and rowed it to the trailer. I have no idea what is could be it was fine when I parked it for the winter and was completely tuned up during the winterization all fluids flushed and replaced as well. This seemed to happen all of the sudden like after 3 hours of use and just before it started I was in a very shallow area and noticed some mud being stirred up. Could the impeller be plugged from something getting sucked up? The boat is a 97 pre2150 with very few hours.

Yep new impeller. I change mine every year before putting the boat in the water. They always come out looking fine, but a cheap piece of insurance. Also keep the spare on the boat.
I'd pull yours out and bring it into a boat store. They can match it (number of splines, width, size of spline, etc.). There are a few different sea water pumps that can be interchanged and the impeller may be slightly different.
Also open your thermostat housing and make sure that there are no pieces of your impeller clogging that passage.
