shaft rpm question

after denting my prop, i had it sent to a repair shop and their question for balancing the prop is the shaft rpm. anyone know this? i have a stock 2004 tige 20v riders edition with efi marine power engine. help!

shaft rpm? it varies with throttle position

if you have a direct drive or a v-drive with out synchrotech then the ratio is 1:1, if you have synchrotech i think it is 1.25:1. i would call you dealer or tige to be sure of that ratio.

4999.5 engine rpm / 1.5 gear ratio = 3333 propeller rpm. is this correct?
what is syncrotech and how will i know if i have it?

The synchrotec will be a blue v-drive unit witha ratio of 1.5:1 and the 1:1 ratio is black.
