I have a 2005 24v with the gray shark skin inlay on the seats. I've kept my boat out of the sun for the last four years, but was trying to sell it this year so it spent a lot of time in the sun during the summer. The shark skin is now discolored, brittle and braking apart. Has anyone else had this problem or have any advice?

Unfortunately, just about all with the shark skin. Looks cool, but didn't seem to last. Ya.. When i got my 06 24v i had the same problem with the shark skin vinyl in the rear compartment areas. I have an orange boat so i replaced it with matching orange vinyl to match. Turned out great. That shark skin vinyl was a problem for alot of people.Originally posted by dougd View Post

Did you use a local person to re-upholster or did Tige' make good on the bad vinyl?Comment

Ours did the same thing on our 2005 24V. we just got it replaced this past season with all white.Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert EinsteinComment
