faria tach alarm wont go off!!
went out last wknd and boat got like 200 deg hot and alarm went off. Impeller had come apart and stopped up the upper water strainer or baffle whatever its called above impeller housing. pulled all of the chunks and flushed installed new imp and went to lake but the alarm had started to go off and then went right back to rapid beep. the ambient air and water display was just jittering back and forth and the illum on the tack would fade right back down. called tech and they seem to think that all mech is sound it went right back up to 160 deg and stayed oil pressure was good and plenty of atf and volts are perfect. so they said probly electricaly malfunction somewhere said tige is imfamous for elect issues or could be bad temp send unit on motor this is an 04 22i limited and the previous owner has done some hack a shaq on alot of wires any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated. I am just running with the tack unplugged right now!

Have you tried disconnecting the battery or whatever you have to do to reset the ECU? I would try con/alt/del and see if that helps.2009 RZ2, PCM 343, MLA Surf Ballast, Premium Sound.

doh! figured it out
Of all things alarm was still sounding after tests tried to push the up and down arrows on tach to go to setup and the down arrow didn't click it was friggin stuck ! Little screwdriver pry and it popped up and alarm went off all goodComment
