What is the definition of a Switch V?

The 2004 Tige Switch V? How is it different from the 2004 20V ?
    Waiting for another good one!

First and best, the 2004 switch V has a slightly different hull. ( more rocker then the 2004 20 V)
(The switch v hull became the 20V hull in 2006 I believe).
The switch V has a walk through bow; the 20 V has a seat there.
The 20V has nicer interior then the SwitchV.
The 20 V has two speedometers, where the SwitchV only has one.
The SwitchV was designed as an entry level boat. (No thrills, base model)
So yes the 20V is a nicer boat, but I really love my SwitchV. On the 2004, the cushion on the noise opens up. (Changed in 2005) also the 2004 has a 38 gallon tank (2005 only has a 25 gallons or so)
The switch was only made for 2004 and 2005. (Not sure why they canceled it)
they made 3 models V, I , and CI ( the Ci had a closed bow)
Tige, it's a way of life!

I have a 2004 Switch V, and love it. The 20V is a little nicer, but there really isn't that much of a difference. I would say, if it's between a 04 Switch V, and a 04 20V, go with the Switch V, because it has the new hull design.

Here is a link to a review by waterskiing magazine
        http://waterskimag.com/ski-boats/200...2004-switch-v/
“Size does matter, but strangely enough, sometimes smaller has its advantages. The Tige Switch V isn't one of those monster wakeboard boats. Instead, it delivers the goods without the bulk. It's a fun boat because it handles like a sports car- we found it to be nimble and fairly solid, with a high freeboard design. It also turns well while fully loaded.”

Thanks. I found a switchV for sale at what seems to be a pretty decent price, but I'm sure I could beat him up a bit on it...
Do I want to go a 2004 route, or get a loan for a 2006 or newer 22Ve...

Wow, it's got old toggle switches instead of the nice rocker switches I see in that review...

Make sure it has the MPI engine.
Tige did offer a carbureted engine.
Also the toggles have a LED in the tip to tell you if it is the on or off position. (I have modified my boat, and need to add a few more switches. The toggle made it easy to match)

4 immediately. But add a couple friends and it can get to 8-10 pretty easily.

                    eight will fit fine.
Once you go to 9, NO that to many for me. ( i have had 11 at one timem, never again)

You going to need a 22 or 24VE.(RZ2 or RZ4) if you want to do 10 or more.

22 sounds like your bet, especially if u spend more than a couple of hours on the lake.
