Is there a way to change the names of the "memory" presets for the cruise control on a 2009 22ve? i looked through the cruise control setup and menu setup but couldnt find anything. i can swear i saw a youtube video where the changed the cruise presets to match a riders name.

also, does the cruise preset also store the TAPS setting. For example, i set 21mph, taps 4 for the 1st memory position, and when recalled it will go to those settings?

If you set the preference for your speed set first to memory and then select the preset you want to name eg. Memory 1. And press select. Then press both the up and down buttons at the same time, the memory name will become highlighted. Use the up and down buttons again to change the letters and press select to save them.

Will the presets be erased when you turn off the battery switch and the master/accessory switches under the dash?

No, the preset will hold in memory. I have even had my screen out of the boat look for the problem with the speed set dropping out and all of my settings are still there. I didn't clarify before that the taps isn't set I'm memory, it has to be adjusted manually.

tried this in many different ways, nothing seemed to work. any other ideas?
