I destroyed my prop yesterday surfing through some shallow water. It's pretty gnarled up! From Tige it's $750!! It looks like the ACME 537 is the exact same thing for about $300 less. Does anyone know if this is the exact same thing? Also, has anyone upgraded to a ACME 1255 and seen a benefit? Any other recommendations on a upgraded prop? I don't want to loose more than 5mph top speed, but usually pull about 1200 punds ballast & wouldn't mind a little more initial pull.

i would call acme if you want a new one. i have the same boat and a new one from acme was around $500. i messed mine up earlier this summer. i ended up getting it repaired for $200 but you have to have someone who has the blocks for it. stateamind water sports in st louis fixed mine.Comment
