What size ballast do I have?

Strange question I know - but our boat was a photo shoot build at Tige - so most everything has been conflicting information from the original build order. Example - build order calls for black graphics - it has silver.

I ask because I noticed going back through my emails and originally we were told it had the Surf Ballast, and then later the Pro Ballast. I'm not looking to hold anyone accountable for the difference (because we got an awesome deal on it), but I would like to know how much weight I'm adding - don't want to overweight the boat between people and ballast accidentally. Also, I might want to upgrade the sacs (if possible) since sometimes we want to surf even if we don't have a large crew.

I've attached pictures of the rear sacs filled in our '10 24ve - not sure if someone can identify these as the Factory Surf or Factory Pro sac's. Or maybe there is another way to figure this out?

Hopefully someone who knows will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that the surf and pro ballast have the same rear sacs. The difference is in the front. One front sac = surf system. Two front sacs = pro system.

I think you are correct. I would guess the bag is an additional 350lbs of ballast and the other 250lbs is beneath the floor giving you 600lbs in each rear corner.

Re-reading the definitions on Tige.com (which are mis-worded some) - sounds like you are right. So I guess if we have two bags in the back (and obviously two tanks in the back)-and two tanks up front - then we have the Pro. I would guess the Tige Touch would look different for filling the Surf system then - and only show 1 tank/pump up front?

Front = 400 lb tank on each side
Rear = 250 lb tank and 350 lb sac on each side.

Seems like this should be enough - but it looks like others are getting bigger surf waves out of the Pro system. Odd - we're using the Tige Touch presets for surf setups, etc.

Your above breakdown is correct for the Pro-level ballast. The difference between the Surf and Pro is the swapping about of the single "U" shaped bow sac and installing a pair of 400lb sacs. This basically doubles the bow weight. I do not believe the look of the Tige Touch changes from base level up to Pro, I think it still shows w separate bow sacs, even though the base and surf actually have a single.

Another way to identify what ballast is if the front is boxed off or not. If it is boxed off i believe you have the Pro ballast which is the way it is on my Rz2 with pro and a friends Surf is open.
