drive the boat take note of wich way wheel is off. try and leave it in that spot. stop the boat turn off ignition (saftey first you know). Lay on your back and look at bottom of steering under dash. there will be a big long black rectangle on the end of the steering cable attached by 4 bolts(7/16 head)to the steering wheel housing. loosen all 4 of these bolts 99% of the way out seperate big black rectangle from housing turn wheel to center.Push rectangle back into place make sure the teeth mesh and it goes back in flush (dont use the bolts to pull it back in place) it should go right back in with very little effort. tighten all four bolts. test drive boat. It make take a couple of trys to get it perfect. Its not a real hard job just take your time. good luck let me know if you have anymore ???
Thanks for the question and the tip, I'll try this on Sat for my boat too, its about 90 degrees off when driving straight ahead, I thought it was due to the slightly "loaded" rudder.

* one tip I forgot to mention..best to check and adjust while heading into the wind. you know if wind is blowing from the side your wheel will be a little off because your counter steering against it so head into the wind and take note of far off and make adj. from there.
Another option.
My steering wheel is held on by a bunch of allen screws. I set my rudder straight and then removed the screws and indexed the wheel and reinstalled the screws.
