Throttle disengages when cruise is turned on

Was wondering if anyone would know why my 2006 tige 24V, would loose all its power as soon as I click the set button on cruise control. Or sometimes ill just be driving and ill say turn up the stereo and boooom loose all the power....only way to get it back is turn off engine then restart.

    Any info would be great.

    Thanks

Is it a "V" or "Ve"? What engine? Dual or single battery? Perfect Pass or Tige Accu-Set? Alarm/Sounder going off?

Its the V...6 liter 380hp gm Im not sure but its the Tige brand cruise that has an up and down button and a center button to set and toggle on dash. Alarm started to go off yes but i thought that was because i was messing with the depth finder in case that was the issue. Single bat in the back corner with 2 tsunami power switches.

So, it's 06 V with a Marine Power 6.0 throttle-by-wire with Tige Accu-Set and a single battery setup. Dont know what the "Tsunami Power" switches are

Got me! Sounds like a loose or corroded connection.
