I understand that. Ford got out of the marine engine biz back in the 90's, so all the marine inboard and I/O's are GM blocks. The "Vortec" is just a combustion chamber design that GM developed in the early 90's. The Marinizers, such as Marine Power, Indmar, Volvo-Penta, Merc, PCM, ect, all use the same GM engines, but each will accessorize the engine on their own, before going on to the boat builder. For this reason, many use different external parts such as impeller pumps, fuel pumps, fuel systems and coolers, manifolds, exhaust, alternator and pulley setups. etc. Your 05 is more then likely a MP or PCM, but could be a Merc.

If its the ZR6 it will be in the bottom of the fuel pump.

If you have the PCM ZR6 pm me your email address and I will send you a drawing of it.

Owners manual? Should also be labeled on the engine cover.

                    Marine Power 340.

In the 2nd pic, see the part with the sticker that states "No Step" that's the filter housing. Do a search, there are a handful of threads for the MP fuel filter.

Just for clarification since there are two "no step" pics, its the "no step" housing to the right of the last pic which is closest to the rear of the boat.

Good catch, thanks! The "no step" to the left is the starter, so no filter there
