    Rotozip Help!!!! (fiberglass hull cutting)

Specifically, can someone please recommend what Rotozip bit(s) i should use to cut my glovebox to drop in my new stereo? The 2 bits that I have (which came with the refurbed unit) seem to not really be doing the trick.

    Thanks for any suggestions.....

I used the regular old multi-material type blades. There not the metal, not the tile, and not the drywall specific ones. I have found that the smaller ones cut the fastest, but overheat and break easy. The larger ones dull faster, but dont break.

Go buy a variety pack. I use the general ones also. What Rotozip won't tell you is that those damn bits seem to be really good for about 1-2 uses, after that-forget it, unless you have all the time in the world.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I used to be a toolmaker and I just used a 2 flute ball endmill. Worked fine.

I wouldn't use a rotozip, too easy to have a run-off cut. I use a oscillating cutter. They cut straight and easy and you can cut the corners perfectly square. Good Luck!
