It is for an early market wedge system that was adapted to other boats. Instead of a wedge they modified the swim platform to allow it to trim up or down. They installed special hydraulics on the platforms mounts so when the button was first pushed it tilted platform up. Pressing the button a second time was slalom mode in which the boat turned into part submarine. It wasn't a popular option because it malfunctioned and either caused submarine mode or too much wedge like action burying the stern

I'm still at a loss here!!!
Did you ever check it to see if it has power ( + 12 vdc)Tige, it's a way of life!

I followed the wires and after futher review, I found that this was a 10A inline fuse that was connected to my seacock rocker switch. I also found that the button was stuck in the "open" position, so it seemed to have no value. The wiring ran as follows:
- Wired from the 10A fuse under the dash for the shower (which I don't have).
- To the inline 10A fuse shown in the above picture.
- To the rocker switch that ran my seacock.
Not sure why the inline fuse was there. Seemed redundant. So, I removed it and ran the wire directly from the shower fuse to the rocker switch.
Seacock still doesn't work!!! I still have no ballast!brose
