    Mysterious Black Button.

On my 2005 24V I found a small black button under the dash. It's mounted under the steering wheel by the back side of the toggle switches. Any clue what it does?

    Thanks!

that is an in-line circuit breaker. Possibly for a ballast pump, shower or something of that nature. Judging by the zip ties holding it in place i'm guessing it was added by a previous owner or and installer of some sort.

Oddly, my balast won't fill right now. I think my seacock isn't opening. Could this have anything to do with it?

I have another post on it right now, "Ballast Won't Fill".....

I also have another post, "Accessory Rocker Switch - 2005 24V", because I don't know what this ACC Toggle does either.

I though this was possibly something that others had... I guess I'll follow the wires and see where they go!

It could be a breaker for anything including a seacock. have you tried pushing it to see if it has been tripped?

Heck yea I've pushed it. Have you ever found a button and couldn't push it? I waited about 10 seconds then said, "Let's see what it does".

Seriously, the button doesn't seem to be like a GFI electrical outlet, so it doesn't click or stay depressed when pushed. Nothing seems to happen when I push it either. Nothing dies when running or works later after not running.

The only things that seem potentially after market to me that it may go to are parts of the stereo (AudioBahn Sub / Amps, VooDoo Power, and MB Quart Tower Speakers) and the heater. Everything else seems stock.
