    fuel pump

Just replaced the high pressure fuel pump(boat mechanic told me it was going out)it was making a loud noice and the pressure wouldn't stay the same. Full throttle the boat would die. Now the boat is still doing that.It will idle all day and rev up really nice. But now the new fuel pump is also loud. Does any one know what would cause this. I am spending alot of money and my boats not working. Two mechanics and no right answers. Thanks

There is possibly a anti-siphon valve at the tank that has been known to cause problems. They are about $10 and look like this.

      Is it easy to replace?

Yes. It is right at the tank and screws into an adapter on one end and has a hose and hose clamp on the other.
Others have replaced the fuel regulator as well. I'm assuming you or the shop has already replaced the fuel filter/separator?

Is the fuel regulator the one that got the vent line off it. I think it is by the fuel cooler.
