Keel-Off Set

does anyone know what the proper setting is?
I have the keel at 6' and the shallow is a 3.5. That doesn't seem right. Any help would be great.

yeah but why would you set your keel at 6 foot?, i have my sounder place about 3 inches left of the keel right next to the trans, i measured from where i have it placed to the bottom of my prop and then gave some room so i have my shallow set at 3 foot
