smendez, our 05 22v doesn't howl!! All I can hear underway is the roar of the engine and the tunes from the stereo!

now if it is stalling under acceleration check to see that the accelerator pump is working. i remember back then we had a problem with the clip falling off the plunger rendering the pump useless. i have a few more ideas that are hard to explain in writing. call me at 951/737-9801 ask for greg.

one more thing, if that motort has a thunderbolt 5 ignition system you have to put it into service mode while adjusting the carb.

Are the fins under your boat perfectly aligned? I read somewhere here that if you knock them a little out of alignment that the noise stops. My fins are aligned and I'm getting some howl.

I'll be in your neighborhood the week of June 27th. If you'll be around could I catch a quick ride on your boat to compare?

Here's the link to a couple of threads. One one, someone suggests a rubber mallet. On the other, someone suggest a 4 ton jack.

I don't suggest anything, I've never done it
