    RGB wire?

I’ve got these wires that I assume are for the RGB lighting. Is this where I connect the RGB controller at if I want to add LED speaker lighting and use the touchscreen? I pulled a tower speaker and this wire was not there.

Like stated in your FB post, Tige did not offer an LED option for the cabin speakers, so that could be for tower speaker rings, but I dont recall when Tige started offer RGB tower LED. Use a 9V battery to test to see if any LEDs light up. The blk is the + and colors are the -.

In my 2017 Z1 that’s the RGB for the 6.5 coaxial right by the sub. You’d have to run wire to each speaker, controller and switched 12v to make it work.

Ok. So this wire goes to the touchscreen and terminates here, correct? Then I need to do what you stayed to get the LEDs to the speakers.

No, that wire does not go to the screen. A 2017 does not have an integrated RGB controller, nor does it even have the capacity to control an external controller via CAN BUS.

Hmm… I guess I will start pulling speakers to see if it goes to any. I tried one tower speaker and it wasn’t there. Thanks again for the info!

no need to pull any speakers just yet, as I posted above; "Use a 9V battery to test to see if any LEDs light up. The blk is the + and colors are the -"

Ok, I'll try that first but inspecting them, I don't see any LED speakers. Thanks!

The OEM Wet Sounds Revo series have onboard LEDs behind the tweeters. Tige just did not make use of the LEDs for the first few years the Revo series where used.

Yah! I used the 9v trick and to my surprise, I have cabin speakers with LEDs built in! I have to pull the tower speaker again as I didn't see it there the first time!

Isn't this the unbranded version of the Wet Sounds controller I could use?

I checked again, no RGB wires in the tower speakers... hmm....

The tower speakers are a different animal. They do not come off the assembly line with onboard LEDs. They use an opaque ring that would been installed at the time the speakers are mounted to the boat, based on the build sheet. Here is a pic of a Rev tower speaker with the LED ring.

Pic of rings with leds off and shop lights on. You can see the thin opaque ring between the pod and grill.

2017 was at least single color, but could have been RGB, I cant remember.

This should be useful if you know basic wiring.

A few more questions... hopefully I am understanding all of this correctly...

If I get aftermarket LED spool lights for the speaker rings, do I need to purchase specific adaptors to connect to the existing LED speakers? I think I need this splitter for the existing LED speakers: https://wetsounds.com/rgb-4p-1m-3f-i...3-female-pair/

For my tower speakers that have no RGB pre-wire, I have to run that and then need the wet sounds OEM male adapter (https://wetsounds.com/4-pin-waterpro...kit-with-pins/) then out to the splitter, correct?

With 5 hull speakers and 4 tower speakers, do I just need the one RGB controller for all of these speakers (https://wetsounds.com/RF-RFB-MC-V2/)?
