    Fuel delivery

I am having a fuel problem. if i am below 1/2 tank and sit for an hour or longer i begin to have problems starting. if it sits all day or trailer it somewhere sometimes it wont start at all. till i fill up. if i am below 1/2 tank and dont shut it down for more than say 10 min it has no problem. My elect. fuel pump is fine and has no problems when i have more than 1/2 tank. so i guess i am getting an air bubble in the line or something. any thoughts??
    I have a 1999 pre 2002 wt.

I have a 2004 24v that has similar symptoms. All is fine until we stop for a while to swim or hang out, then hard as heck to restart, I can tell when it is going to start as I can hear the pump finally pressurize. I am thinking something to do with hot engine and vaporization in the fuel pump due to heat in the engine compartment. of course you said your boat will not start when first loading out for the day too..... Please post any solution you find...

Some fuel injected engines struggle with ethanol. I'm not sure what kind of gas you are running, but that could do it.

there has been a lot of talk about this in the last couple months. Do a search for "fuel pump" and you should get some good info.
