What is this Hella fitting at bow - 2003 24v

ok, so this one has defeated me.
there's a Hella fitting mounted in the bow, and I cannot figure out what it is or how to turn it on.
Clearly with "Hella" branding, it must be light related?
The flat centre stainless steel plate that's on top of the bow moves up & down a tiny amount, and almost feels like a toggle on/off movement switch, however I haven't yet found anything that turns on with it.
It does have wires running to it, so presumably it's a light of some sort?

Thanks for posting the photos. I got excited when I saw you had a a Bimini then noticed our towers are not the same. Mine is the less desirable MetCraft but it serves the purpose.

no problem. Yes it's pretty tidy for 20 years old, so I'm happy. Here's some closer photos of the Bimini and one of the manufacturer label in case that's of use. The hinge connection to the tower is not super ideal - so I may deal with that later, but it's intact and works for now.
Would love to see a bunch of photos of your boat too - including the progression, if you have some.
Do you have the 2 outlet heater?
Due to the paddle wheel issue on the PP thru-hull, I'm going to order the Nauticlaugic NL-4 unit that Justin recommended, with the PP patch lead.

Gumby, those boats look great. I love the table/steps and the extended shade. I will look for threads on your boat and mods later this week.

That’s great news I out the tower. I always hear folks bashing MetCraft but my tower seems solid. I honestly have no complaints other than wanting a Bimini and possibly board racks. I added some cheap generic racks to my last boat that worked well but that was before we shifted our focus to surfing.
I hope to find a Bimini frame that will support the weight of a couple surf boards.

My boat is still stored for the winter but I will post photos and details in the next few weeks. Your entire boat looks to have had a much better life than mine.
It looks like your boat spent most of its life in the Nashville area.
