2003 24v - Ignition key - dash side jam nut missing

2003 24v ignition key barrel is rotating on the dash when the key is turned, and it's because the jam nut from the front side is missing - is that a generic size thing or specific to Tige? Does anyone know if it has a specific measurement that I can use to try to source a replacement? Would they be sized by the thread / barrel diameter?
Haven't gone round the back yet to see if perhaps it's just easier to replace the barrel, but I'm keen to retain the Tige keys, and not have to go to a generic key.
Parts-wise, the situation is slightly complicated by the fact that I'm in New Zealand, but there's a good sized marine supply industry here, so I'm hoping I can source another one with the same diameter barrel and just use the jam nut from it. Thanks.

the thing to know about boats. The boat manufacturer pretty much builds the hull and the cushions. Almost everything else comes from an outside source. Those ignition switches universal. Likely its a 4 position switch. So if you dont find a nut, just replace it.

no problem Lee - hard to say if things got knocked around in the journey, but Chpthril says it's universal, so prob best to just replace.
