i know the trany uses dextron 3 but the v drive uses mobiltrans sch50 according to the maintenance manual. from my research i can not find any mobiltrans sch 50 anywhere and according to a google search mobiltrans sch 50 has been discontinued.. ive tried calling pcm my self and leave voice mails but no return calls.. so i was wondering do i just use dextron in the v drive as well or can anyone help me before i put the wrong oil in the v drive.. thanks for your help

this is an old thread and might have been answered someplace else. seems most have just used SAE 30 in the vdrive. that is what the walters calls out. PCM calls out the mobiltrans shc 50 and that has been replaced by Mobil Delvac Synthetic Transmission Fluid 50
I opted to use Valvoline VR1 SAE 50. i realize the viscosity is higher. but dont see that being an issue.
