I currently have an Acme 381....Top speed is 40mph at 4600 RPM.....I know everyone says that stock was a 537; however I bought this boat used with a 381, which I assume came stock because previous owner had a spare 381 as well. So I have two 381's. I have the GM Vortec 6.0L that supposedly maxes out at 6000 rpm. We usually do mostly tubing, some wakeboarding...but I would like my boat to have the correct prop that gets maximum power, torque, and driveability.....Im missing at least 1400 rpm of power using this prop....Any suggestions? Acme has suggested the 1939...just want to know what everyone else has been using with this particular motor...thx

The 537 is a great all around prop for general use for those who are not heavily ballast or at high elevations. its 1.5" lower pitch then the 381. The 381's 17.5 pitch is likely why the RPM are down so much.
With that said...............as soon as you load that boat up for surfing, I think you would find the limits of the 537. The 1939 would certainly be an improvement over the 381 and a better choice then the 537 cause its going up in dia and down in pitch at the same time.
So presuming that made sure your 24V has the blue v-drive and you are not running at a high elevation, then the 1839 should be a good choice. I would not expect to see the black v-drive in a 24V with the 6.0, but im not going to assume.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Mike, What are the ratios of the two vdrive?
I found it very useful to get the rpm at every 3mph or so and make a plot. In my case on my R23 with raptor 400, use can see the 537 struggles when getting on plane. I’d bet you will see the same thing with your current prop. More data points around 8-15mph the better....if you collect the data, I’ll plot it for ya if you want.
