2017 RZX2 plastic strut bushing

I ran into some fishing line and while doing so, this plastic "bushing" was torn up and is no longer in place. How critical is it that I replace this piece?

That is all fishing line my friend. The cutlass bearing (the contact surface of the shaft in the strut) appears to still be there. So no worries.
