    No battery power

To start off I’m new to the forum. Just purchased a 1998 Tige Pre2200i w/t. It has the Mercruiser 5.7. I recently replaced the alternator. While doing this I had forgotten to unhook the battery and got a short spark off the engine mount from the thicker red wire. I unhooked the battery and completed the installation but I now have no power to anything (blower, bilge, horn, etc). The main 50 amp breaker was rusted and actually broken in the back so that has been replaced but I still have no power to anything. I have been looking for additional fuses without much success. Also to note the boat got swamped on vacation, but everything worked until I replaced the alternator. Is the box on the starter a relay or fuse?

There is typically a marine fuse on the main starter post of the starter, which the alternator output connect to also.
