R21 Ignition Issue

Bought a 2019 R21 3 weeks ago. We were out today and stopped for lunch. Went to turn it back on and nothing happened. Turned key, fuel pump engaged, turned to start and literally nothing happened. Thought it was in gear but it wasn’t. Full charge on battery. It finally started after a couple tries. Didn’t turn it off for the rest of the day. Anyone experience this before?

Where you able to figure this out. I'm having the same issue.

Neutral safety switch, which on those boats, is in the the shifter. If it happens again, hold the key in start position as you move the handle forward and aft. If you hear the engine try to start while moving the shifter, thats the sweet spot. The switch will have to be replaced but most likely the culprit.
