Hi ALL,
Had my MIL (!) light come on today, All gauges where fine and in order. I turned the boat off 2012 RZ4 and turned it back on and the (!) was still on. I turned it off again and looked in the engine compartment. My coolant bottle was empty. (The belt slipped off the day prior and it heated up a little and threw out some coolant). I added some but must of been air in the system.
I then also also turned my main battery shut off OFF and back ON.
Fired up the boat and light was off.
My question is this.
1) Could low coolant through the MIL light. Thinking the air pocket could through the coolant temp sensor?
2) now the MIL (!) flashes when I just have the boat in the ON position but not running. So a code is stored. I’m far from my dealer can I get that code? And can I clear the code myself??
3)Looking into it I think I need an mefi reader. Which one is made for my boat?
