Starter

I was wondering what brand of starter you all have used? I was looking at a PMGR (DB) starter: link
Or a Delco starter: link
But I'm not sure how robust these starters are. Any suggestions?

Internally they are probably the same.

I like the Delco better because of the epoxy finish for marine applications. But, honestly, the starter will probably go bad before the rust eats through it.

Personally I prefer to buy electrical items like this through a local dealer. Its much less trouble if it fails during the warranty period. And is probably close, if not better, than the price when you include shipping.
