    Custom grill mounts??

Curious if anyone has made or modded up a tower grill mount. Everything I do revolves around eating. Sooo the grill was a must. I went with the magma monteray and want to mount it on the tower. With somesort of swivel type arm, that I can pull in and then push out. I would feel alot more comfortable with the grill OUT of the boat. The standered rail mount doesnt do anything for me. I also prefer not to drill the dual post mounts into the hull. But want this thing sturdy. What do ya think??

There was a post or thread some time last year or so, that had a pic of a rail-mount grill arm for tower type installs. It wasn't cheap though!

I had always liked the idea of doing like a rod holder in the corner of the swim platform, and then a pedestal mounted to the grill and then dropped in the rod holder. No mess in the boat, and you can stand up and grill with no leaning over the side!

    Found one http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/show...ht=grill+tower

Sweet!! I listen to NPR on my morning commute. A couple of weeks ago there was a segment on engine block cooking. Sounds pretty corny but most of our engune blocks have a great space between the valve covers and throttle body to put cans of stuff or foil wrapped food to warm also. I thought about trying it out on a camping trip sometime...

been warming up foil wrapped food on the engine for years. just make sure it is wrapped tight and choose your selections carefully. bbq baby back ribs with just rub and no sauce is a favorite. cook the night before, wrap in foil, when you load up the boat throw them on top of the engine and in a couple of hrs enjoy!
