Anybody know a source for a belt tensioning tool (98 350 MPI on a 98 2200V)? I was able to do it last time with a couple of wrenches and stuff but there has to be something specially made for it. Anyone got a line of a source for such a tool?

I'm guessing it's a self-tensioning spring-loaded tensioner!
If so, Lisle Tools makes a nice set. Can be found at Pep Boys, Northern Tools, and possible Sears. Also i'm sure NAPA has one under their own label.

Nope...not a spring loaded auto tensioner. More like a bolt that you losen, then another bolt thingy that you twist (I think I used a crescent wrench) that raises the tensioner wheel up. Once you get the tension you want you lock down the other bolt. Seems like the tensioning bolt thingy is a little special shaped and would be easier to work with with a special tool of some sort
