2300V : Shifter and gauge quetions

    I've got a 2001 2300V. Two questions:

    1) This year the shifter / throttle has started loosening up to the point where I'm fairly concerned. Can anyone give me the how-to on getting in there and checking it out / tightening it up?

    2) Gauge set. Tige obviously doesn't make the gauge sets in these boats. The 4-in-1 gauge that I've got has a completely malfunctioned volt meter. The temperature and fuel gauges are also malfunctioning too, but I think those can be addressed on the sender side. Who makes the gauges? I was told that they have a "lifetime" warranty - can anyone confirm?

It it the handle that loose? if so, there is a set-screw that secures the handle to the spindle. Pull the allen headed set-screw, add a drop of loc-tite, retighten.

Yes, Fiara gauges do have a life-time, it's either for the cost of shipping or shipping and a small fee, cant remember.

The lever arm, where it mounts to the side of the boat is loose.. I'll look for a set screw, but is it necessary to pull the panel and try and get behind the panel to the cable side?

      I appreciate the responses.

The entire mount of the shifter was loose, getting to it is a bit of a PITA. To remove the side panel, the center panel has to be removed, which means removing the steering wheel.
