The dacron portion of the throttle cable which runs from the servo motor to the throttle linkage has broken. When I tried to pull on the stainless steel cable portion with a pliers, I can't pull the throttle with it. I'm guessing I should be able to. Does this mean the cable itself has become stuck and the dacron portion broke because the servo motor literally pulled until the dacron broke? If so, I guess I need a new cable to go between the throttle linkage and servo motor? The servo motor appears to be fine, when I drive the boat, the servo turns and tries to compensate for the speed (but obviously can't since the cable has snapped between it and the throttle linkage). Has this happened to anyone else?

So when you pull on the stainless cable, it moves the cable but not the linkage? Sounds like its broke to me.
