Tige' Accu-set

I had the boat out yesterday and the new speed set panel worked perfectly.
The ECM re-flash gave the boat a little better hole shot, other than that I didn't notice any difference.
Thanks to North Atlantic Marine Group (Stuart) for hooking me up with a new Speed Set.
Also thanks to The folks at Marine Power for taking care of me on an off warranty engine.
Tige' charging $628.00 for this panel (when they knew that the Accu-set was prone to failure) on a boat 90 days off warranty, Thanks for nothing.

Hi did anyone get a resolution for the no speed incread or decrease. i have the exact same issue and cannot resolve. Does anyone recommend using the Speed set and if so has anyone done the change from accuset to speed set? if so was it hard and a rough cost

Anthony,

If your boat is an 06 with "Accue-Set", then the 07 "Speed-Set" is nothing more then a plug-n-play change out of the touch pad.

Speed-Set was used on 07 and 08 models for sure, and maybe some of the 09 and new models that did not have Tige Touch as an option but still had Tige cruise. To my knowledge, the touch pad is same and did not change.

the 2006 has 2 computors, TAC and MEFI4, the 207 up uses the MEFI5 only, I dont know if both systems are compatable, I would call Marine Power and ask them if the systems worked the same.

I do not recall and ECM issues. I replaced my 06 Accue-Set in 08 with the available Speed-Set with no issues. I also ordered a Speed-Set touch pad for another 06 owner. Never heard back from him of any issues.
