Fule Guage

When I turn my boat on the fule guage goes to full and stays there. Is this most likey a bad guage or Sending unit? Not sure how to check this.

The sending unit is on one end of the gas tank, usually where the gas line comes out that goes to the motor. I'm not sure where that is on your direct drive.
