new prop

My boat has a stainless 4 blade 14x18.5 prop that seems to work great. Two years ago I ordered a brass replacement for a backup. I just noticed that the brass prop is a 13.5x17.5 I installed the brass prop & the engine over reved big time! what boat/engine combo would use this prop?
