    Taps electric or Hydralic

Just wondering if someone could tell me if my taps on a 2003 22i Type R would be hydralic or electric??

Typically the taps is actuated by a hydraulic pump located in the driver’s side engine compartment. Mine is located behind the compartment cover all the way back against the stern. The control for the pump is electric but the pistons that drive the trim tab down are hydraulic. If its a Bennet, and im sure it is, it is considered hydraulic. I see that your boat is a 22i and mine is a 21v so there maybe some differance in location of the pump. It uses any type ATF to refill.

Thanks for the reply. I had talked with Lenco Marine right after Bennetts. I guess the Lenco Marine sticker on the ram should have clicked in.
