Taps electric or Hydralic

Typically the taps is actuated by a hydraulic pump located in the driver’s side engine compartment. Mine is located behind the compartment cover all the way back against the stern. The control for the pump is electric but the pistons that drive the trim tab down are hydraulic. If its a Bennet, and im sure it is, it is considered hydraulic. I see that your boat is a 22i and mine is a 21v so there maybe some differance in location of the pump. It uses any type ATF to refill.Son, life is mostly scars and souvenirs.

Thanks for the reply. I had talked with Lenco Marine right after Bennetts. I guess the Lenco Marine sticker on the ram should have clicked in.Life is good...
