    Clarion Remote Failed

    Any ideas on why the wired remote on my Clarion factory installed stereo would be bad?
    I have the Power Premium system on a 2001 21V Ltd.
    Radio / CD works fine, but I can't control anything from the remote at the driver's console.
    I've been under the dash, don't see anything obvious on the wiring or ribbon cable. Haven't poked around the head unit or the amp behind the observer's seat.

    My sony wired remote fails from time to time. All I have to do is turn the deck off and unplug the remote for a second. Turn it all back on and its good to go. Seems to happen when I leave a CD in it and turn the battery switch off.

      If you have 2 remotes one on the transom one drivers side the y adapter may have failed.
