We just picked up a 2006 Switch V. We are coming from an I/O and so far we love the boat. However there are a couple build quality issues that we have come across that we did not experience with our old boat(albeit we did enough research before buying to not be too surprised). We are mechanically inclined just enough to be dangerous. One of the few issues we have is that the Speedo does not work. We followed all the suggestions on here to check that it is not the paddle wheel, etc. Nothing has worked yet. Is there any other things I can do to troubleshoot the Speedo or is there an easy way to fix it yourself?
