The TAPS is not working. When I activate the switch, I can see a drain on the battery but nothing happens. It is stuck in the down position. I'm not sure if there is a hydraulic pump or what actually allows the shaft to move up and down. Anyone got any suggestions as to where to start? Any help would be appreciated.

Is your ram all black or does it have some silver showing at the bottom end? -

The ram itself is totally black. However, in the position it currently sits in, there is about 3-4" of silver (the inner shaft showing) through the bottom.Comment

Well I can tell you this, you have the electric lenco system. I dont know what could be wrong other than the motor being seized...Common Sense is not so Common
