Bilge pump turns on, but doesn't pump

Well, I picked up a new pump, and installed it earlier in the week. When we were on the lake today, I put a bunch of water into the bilge, to see if it would work or not, and water only trickled out of the outlet. I guess the hose is plugged someplace.

So, what's the best way to unplug it? I was going to try and push a wire down the hole, but didn't have any with me. Any other suggestions??

Maybe try to blow it out with an air compressor.
