I went out on the boat this afternoon and noticed that it did not turn over at all with the stereo on. At first it sounded like a completely dead battery but then I turned off the stereo and it turned on like normal, even on the first try. Tried it after about an hour of running it and it did the same thing again. I have two batteries, one for cranking and one for accessories, i.e. stereo, amps, sub, etc.
So could it be a weak battery or should I look for something else. The batteries are not even a year old; I also charged them over the winter.
Lastly, will taking out a battery to charge malfunction any of the electrical components?
TIA,
Matt
