Does it matter for me in my charging of the batteries via the xantrex 40 that in my three different banks I have the following batteries.
bank 1, the starting battery, a maintence free, sealed battery
bank 2, all coscto deep cycle batteries (3 total)
bank 3 2 cosco deep cycle batteries, and one maintence free sealed battery
i'm just curious as i don't want to mess anything up. The one maintence free in bank 3 is the old second battery from the boat, figured I'd use it for a while, and then when it dies, replace with another cosco.
also, when i'm hooking up my charger to the batteries, Since the banks 2 and 3 are off switch position 2 on my perko switch, should I just run bank 3 of the charger to bank 3 of the batteries, and then bank 2 of the charger to bank 2 of the batteries, or should I just use 2 banks off the charger and hook it to the 2 on the switch.
Thanks.
