Screamin Tach?

Had something wierd happen this weekend, I hit a real hard double up and the Tach gauge just started buzzing constantly, the same beep when you first turn the ignition switch on, and the digital data went all blank. It just kept going so I unplugged both connectors and it stopped. (it was drivin me nuts) Anybody ran into this? I'm guessing its a loose wire but any help is appreciated...E

Check the connections on the back of your ignition switch, make sure they're tight.

[Tip]

I had a similar problem last summer except everytime I hit a good bump the engine died, dead as a door nail. After a couple of trips to the dealer he was finally able to fix it.

It ended up being a loose connection in the engine wire harness.
