I took my old one off and took it to the local alternator/starter rebuild shop ask them to fix it. (65A) They had a new one with more amps on the shelf (think 95A) for 100 bucks more than what it was going to cost to rebuild mine. I got both one for a spare.and I like to keep the original. This was not on my Tige.

Nothing against a larger alt upgrade, but I would seriously consider a 2 or 3 bank on-board charger. Even a 100A alternator is not going to do much for a deeply cycled battery bank in a short ride back to ramp/slip after a long day anchored in the party cove. Putting batteries to bed low, is not good for their life span.Mikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

Marine rate battery charged installed on the boat and permanently wired to the battery(s). Plug up when boat is put away.
