I just bought a 2002 21i type R. It had been sitting for a few years I think; starter was seized, steering cable frozen. (I'm wondering if it got flooded at some point?)
Anyway, it's tuned up, running and steering now, took it out on the lake, but TAPS not working. Slalom wake sucks with the trim tab full up!!!
I checked voltage at the two large red/black wires going to the TAPS relay under the dash, and no voltage is present, key off or key on. The wires disappear into a bundle so I can't really tell where they come from. There's three watertight fuse holders near the ignition switch with blade fuses, all look good, and a fuse block with a clear cover and 4 fuses inside, and those fuses look good too. Any ideas where else to look for a fuse/breaker for the taps system?
