Light / Pump short

Hey guys,


I installed some LED strip on my ASR. I used the wires of the actual light inside to plug them. They worked for 10 minutes then dead. Strange thing, left front and rear ballast pump fill and drain stopped too. Everything else work and fuse are good. Also looked at the batts and its all good. Anyone have an idea?

Assuming you looked at the fuses in the medallion box?? If you pull fuse in the medallion for circuit in question and move it over to the slot next to it it should turn load on(light, pump, whatever that circuit is). If fuse is a good fuse and you move it to bypass slot in medallion and load still doesn't work then you've got problems elsewhere. I'd start with that. I'd also double check my work. If everything worked before and then I made changes I'd suspect I did something wrong. If you move fuses in medallion you can go to the loads that aren't working and check for voltage and ground.

finaly lights was from a low voltage batt. a fuse in the pump fuse box was broken. Strange thing everything now working but one pump dont fill, only drain. Will try to knock it a little on the water to see if it work

here's the update:

light still dont work, probably a short because storage light work but not the LEDs.

Front left ballast pump drain but dont fill. All fuse are good. I switched the rear plug on the front and it work. I guess its a short too

Sound system doesnt work anymore too, even at mute there big sound like if i had the work radio channel

Pretty lost right now... maybe a ground? Everything was working fine before I install LEDs and 2 Tower speaker. Everything was pre-wired
